A New Beginning for the History Nook

If you are new here, hi, hello, and welcome to the History Nook!
For all my Nooklings who have been so patient while I've been busy the last few months, welcome home! There have been some big and small changes, so let me show you around.
Of course, the biggest change is the new website, which I hope you all like. I decided to redesign the website from the ground up; it just seemed easier than trying to edit what I already had. The next big change is our logo, which was voted for by the members of the History Nook Discord community. It's inspired by my favourite weird lil medieval guy and was created by the very talented Sam Lock.
Next up is a change to the kind of content I will be creating. Previously, I had a narrative-focused way of writing my blog posts, and I definitely want to keep that casual vibe for my more personal posts. However, for more informative posts, they're going to be more like wiki-style articles, but without the jargon. This will make them easier to update as I continue to learn. I will continue to make educational PDFs that you can download and use for free, and my little cabinet of curiosities will be making a comeback soon, too.
Lastly, my 2nd year of uni is over, and I have 4 months of freedom! Yes, I will be visiting as many museums as my fibro will allow, and I'll be sharing it all here and on my socials. I may also be planning a group trip or two!
I am so very excited for what the future has to bring. As always, stay curious because, as Merlin said, "Look what a lot of things there are to learn."
