Hello, I'm Signa. I call myself an historian, but really I'm a bit of a polymath; I just love learning. I'm interested in history, mythology, archaeology, linguistics, anthropology, zoology... the list goes on, but history is my main passion. Currently, I'm studying towards a degree in Classical Studies at the Open University while taking lessons in Attic Greek and Classical Latin.

I've been volunteering in museums since 2014, and through that, I've had the opportunity to work with many wonderful people and artifacts. It's through my volunteering that I developed a passion for making history education accessible to as many people as possible.

I started the History Nook in 2025 as a personal blog and redeveloped it in 2026 to provide informative articles and educational resources with a side of fun. Everything on the website is available for you to use for free, though I do ask that you provide credit when using any of my resources.
